Getting Started
You’ll find that out meetings general focus on projects our regulars are working on, “new stuff”, and whatever group items we’ve been following like ROS or a competition.
If you’re new to robotics and you either want to get involved or you already have an idea we recommend diving in on an initial “cheap” robotic process that will help introduce you to some of the basics of robotic design and building.
One of our most successful “my first robot” workshops involved the following components and you’ll find we have plenty of people who can assist you in building a robot similar to this:
